User Data Deletion

Instructions for LOSLA Threads and Meta users

You may terminate LOSLA Threads access to your Meta account and delete associated data at any time.

1. Disconnect Meta in the App

  1. Open LOSLA Threads.
  2. Go to Settings → AI and integrations → Threads API.
  3. Select “Disconnect Meta” and confirm.

The stored access token is deleted from the App’s user directory and will no longer be used for Threads API requests.

2. Revoke access in Meta

Open your Meta account settings, navigate to apps and websites, select LOSLA Threads and remove access. This prevents further access to Threads data through Meta.

3. Delete local data

Use the user-data deletion action in LOSLA Threads Settings when available in your version. Alternatively, close the App and remove the LOSLA Threads directory from your macOS Application Support folder.

Warning: local deletion is irreversible and includes profiles, roles, sessions, activity history, content plans and local settings. Export anything you need first.

4. Request manual deletion

If you contacted support or need confirmation that support-related data has been removed, contact @losla on Telegram. Include:

  • subject “LOSLA Threads data deletion”;
  • your Threads username, without passwords or access codes;
  • the data you want removed.

We will verify the request and delete data available to us within 30 calendar days. We never ask for passwords, access tokens or verification codes.

What is deleted

The Meta token, local profile, settings, sessions, content plan and app logs, depending on the selected method. Posts and comments already published on Threads must be deleted directly in Threads.
